Welcome. You Are Not Alone...

While the loss of a baby is something no mother or family should have to endure, it is with open arms and humble hearts that we offer support and heartfelt sympathy for your loss.

Your baby will always be remembered.

The Still Remembered Project

Grief is personal and can weigh heavy on an individual physically, emotionally and spiritually. Our group of bereaved families have experienced the passing of their baby, each with a unique story. As a community, we share empathy and compassion through this organization to provide comfort, support and encouragement.

The Still Remembered Project is a community that welcomes bereaved families and friends to support each other on our grief journeys by offering keepsakes, resources, and events in Pittsburgh, PA and the surrounding areas. Our organization operates six projects that are tailored to supporting families affected by pregnancy and infant loss. We invite you to explore the ways in which The Still Remembered Project can help you, your friend, or your family member to remember these precious babies.

Our Mission

The Still Remembered Project provides bereaved parents and families Christian-based support and encouragement for a loss due to miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant death. Our efforts offer hope and healing throughout all stages of the grief journey. We accomplish this mission by:

– Educating local medical and bereavement communities,
– Providing remembrance keepsakes to families,
– Holding awareness events, and
– Hosting a monthly peer support group meeting for bereaved mothers.

"Each foot, no matter how small, leaves an imprint on this world."

How Can We Help?

Make a Difference

We Believe...

We believe that God creates every life, and intimately knows each one. Regardless of the duration of that life, whether one lives only in the womb or is welcomed into the world, each one makes an impact on those around him or her. Therefore, we remember and celebrate each miracle of life of these children created by God that are now in His loving care.

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” – Psalm 139:13-16

God understands the pain of losing a child, as He gave His Son, Jesus, to be the perfect sacrifice for the sin that plagues us. It is excruciatingly painful. Life has these seasons of pain and heartache. In these seasons, God promises to be a companion, wrapping us who mourn in His love. We find comfort and peace in His truth.

"Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” – Psalm 23:4
