Stand Together Still Remembered 2020

August 3, 2020

Dear Friends of The Still Remembered Project:

We hope that you and your family and loved ones are safe and healthy as we all continue to grapple with the effects of the coronavirus. In mid-March, when everything initially was put on lockdown for two weeks, we never would have dreamed that we would still be largely confined to our homes. Unfortunately, it seems the reality is that we will be dealing with the effects of COVID-19 through at least the end of the calendar year 2020.

The coronavirus and resulting lockdowns caused us to postpone our Fourth Annual Always Still Remembering Luncheon from April 19 to October 4, 2020. We were hopeful that by October the virus would be more under control and the restrictions lifted so that we could host the luncheon as we have done in years past. However, with the virus continuing to spread and the current limitations on the number of people permitted for gatherings, we regretfully must cancel the Fourth Annual Always Still Remembering Luncheon. It is our intent to host another luncheon in the Fall of 2021, when hopefully the coronavirus is behind us and we can all gather together in one place.

We will be refunding all ticket and table purchases and returning all funds to our event sponsors. Any items donated for raffles will be retained for next year’s luncheon, or will be returned to the donor upon request. We are so grateful for your continued support and hope that you will plan to attend the Luncheon next Fall.

We encourage our Luncheon attendees and Sponsors, volunteers, donors, bereaved families, and our whole SRP family to follow the directives of healthcare professionals and government leaders. Take reasonable precautions, including self-quarantine, where appropriate and seek medical attention if you feel ill. We are very grateful for all those who support SRP, and we will continue to pray for everyone during this time of uncertainty.

Thank you all and please be safe and healthy.
