The Still Remembered Project Board of Directors is excited to announce that we have been formally granted 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.
StillRemembered.org – On July 23, 2016 we received notice from the Internal Revenue Service that our application for tax-exempt status for Federal income tax purposes had been accepted.
Contributions donated to The Still Remembered Project are now tax-deductible retroactive to the founding of the organization on April 21, 2016.
The Still Remembered Project is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) private foundation organization. Our continued operation relies heavily upon contributions made by members of the public. Please help keep our mission of support and legacy of your baby/babies by making a contribution today.
The Still Remembered Project is also now eligible to apply for government and foundation grants, which will further broaden our support for bereaved families and strengthen our ability to serve the bereavement community.
A special thanks goes out to those who helped us wade through the process of completing the exemption application. Obtaining tax-exempt status is critical to our mission and cause and to our development into a sustainable organization.
Please consult with your tax advisor to determine whether your donation is tax deductible in whole or in part.
