The Still Remembered Project is dedicated to our mission of providing support and encouragement to bereaved families who have lost a baby. In furtherance of this mission, we are not only partnering with the medical community but also reaching out to local funeral homes in the area and offering to provide them with beautiful remembrance keepsakes that they can offer their bereaved families.
On Monday, our executive director Lauren McLean was warmly welcomed by the John F. Slater Funeral Home team and met with Christine Crompton to share more about the Still Remembered Project. Lauren and Chris talked about how as a bereavement community we all can work together to reach out to those grieving the loss of their children. The Slaters team personally helped Lauren and her family when her son Emerson passed and they have such a heart to walk next to those sadden by grief. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to meet with them and also provide them with sibling bags and angel gowns that they can offer their along with their services.
Thank you to Chris Crompton and the John F Slater funeral home!
