The Board of The Still Remembered Project is a combination of bereaved parents with faith in God, hearts for helping others, and unique talents. The Board Members work with the community, own businesses and come from legal and financial backgrounds. The Board Members, drawing on their personal stories as bereaved parents, donate their free time and utilize their professional experiences to keep The Still Remembered Project working to fulfill its mission of providing comfort, support and encouragement to bereaved parents.
The Still Remembered Project is a true grassroots organization. Formed in a living room in the South Hills of Pittsburgh in 2016, the Still Remembered Project fulfills its mission through its team comprised entirely of volunteers. With no employees or paid positions, The Still Remembered Project relies entirely on the donated time, effort, and talent of its volunteers, including seamstresses, crocheters, event planners, Project Leads, and its Board Members.
While The Still Remembered Project's Board is working daily, we couldn't do it alone! We have many volunteers who give of their time and talents! It is important that we highlight a few of our key volunteers who head up important roles in the organization:
Michele Riggio who leads Still Supported,
Terra Elsberry who oversees our Stitched with Love Project &
Beth Liedl who is in charge of our Still Loved boxes.
All these ladies have been a part of The Still Remembered Project for years and work tirelessly to help support the Board and the daily operations of the organization.
We believe that God has driven the Still Remembered Project through prayer, faith and hope. We are thankful and humbled to support grieving families in our area and build a community of those that desire to remember and honor the lives of their babies.
